Consider Supporting Downtown Indy’s Beautification Efforts. Here are a few ways you can help.
Downtown Indianapolis is a great place to live, work, learn and play. But that doesn’t come by accident. One important factor to keeping Downtown vibrant is Downtown Indy’s determination to make it one of the most beautiful and clean downtowns in the nation. Thanks to our beautification efforts, the city has planters, gardens, gateways and trees to decorate the city. Did you know that Downtown Indy plants over 230 planters per year? With the help of our supporters, though, we can expand this to a larger portion of the city and enhance the beauty of Indianapolis even more. That is why we need YOU. Help us raise funds to continue and expand the beautification of our lovely Downtown by supporting Inspired Beauty, a fundraiser to benefit the Downtown Indy Beautification Fund taking place on Monument Circle, Sep. 17. Here are some ways for you to help make Downtown even more beautiful.
Become a Corporate Sponsor
Show your company support for Downtown’s beautification by becoming a sponsor. Sponsorship levels range from presenting sponsor ($7,500) to Gold ($2,500) and Silver ($1,000). Contact Bob Schultz.
Donate to the Online Auction
Got an amazing gift? Donate items such as tickets and unique experiences provided by area restaurants, hotels, attractions and organizations for the online auction. Prices vary. Contact Bob Schultz for more information.
Sponsor a planter
Recognize your business or a loved one by sponsoring planters. Your donation will provide the plant material and maintenance for the 2015 growing season and allow for the first 2016 planting. See your name on a sponsored planter as well as an online reference and printed certificate of sponsorship. Cost is $200 per planter. You choose! Downtown Indy is a private, nonprofit organization with a commitment to Downtown beautification at its core mission. Support that effort with your tax deductible gift. Use the Donation field on the Eventbrite page.
Attend the Event
Buy tickets to the Inspired Beauty event Sept. 17 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Monument Circle. Celebrate in the heart of Downtown with two drink tickets, great local food, live entertainment and a gorgeous fall mum to take home. Watch professional gardeners and local personalities compete as they assemble their own gardens on site. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets are also available for sale online.
