Focusing on the positive in 2017

It’s a new year, and I’m focusing on the positives.

And luckily, as the director of real estate (and a little bit of everything) at Downtown Indy, Inc., there is plenty to keep me smiling.  For example, today, I got to strategize with my co-workers on our Downtown Workforce Week, happening April 24 – 28 to celebrate Downtown’s talented employees and salute their commitment to a vibrant and energized urban core.

Hot Lap

HandleBar Hot Lap

This week will be one to remember!  We are partnering with more than 100 Downtown restaurants for discounts on April 25, an extended version of Workout Wednesday with a 5K on the Canal and ending the week with last year’s crowd favorite, HandleBar Hot Lap.  Expect giveaways, discounts, and a beer garden on the Circle.  It’s hard to narrow down all the ways we want to celebrate YOU, our Downtown workforce!

Tasty Tuesday

Bluebeard

Downtown residential growth continues to impress.  We know you want access to the newest units to hit the market and in August, we are taking you inside!  Urb Appeal, Downtown Indy, Inc.’s home tour in the late summer, will be the perfect Friday date night, or girl’s night out, or just an excuse to be nosy.  Stay tuned for participating projects and restaurants to be announced.

Residents

Cultural Trail on Virginia Avenue

All day, every day, our team here at Downtown Indy, Inc. thinks about how to better connect with the fastest growing neighborhood in the city. We want to hear from you about what you’d like to see in a Downtown Neighborhood Association/Downtown Insiders/Elites/In the Know Group/Club/Program.  We’re assuming you want access to new development projects, retail spots and buildings, yes?  Exclusive programming and unreal discounts at Downtown establishments are just some of the perks we hope to offer to the group.  What else would you like to see? Leave your comments here and I’ll be sure to review.
