Happy Wednesday!

We’re still reeling from this past weekend’s festivities in which Downtown hosted our good friends from the Big Ten Conference and many excited Buckeyes and Badger fans for the Big Ten Football Championship Game. We were able to throw them a B1G Party on Georgia Street!

We had local bands, food and beverage and featured the DLW Timberworks Lumberjack Show and a St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail eating contest. The lumberjacks entertained the fans with six different shows and Joey “Jaws” Chestnut walked away breaking a WORLD RECORD of eating 10.4 pounds of shrimp cocktail in just eight minutes. WOW!

Several thousand fans and locals passed through our B1G party and a good time was had by all.  We can’t wait to host this fantastic B1G Celebration again in 2015.

Next up is City Sidewalks presented by BMO Harris Bank on Georgia Street Dec. 19 & 20, followed by Downtown Indy’s New Year’s Eve Celebration brought to you by The Indiana Union Construction Industry. Hope to see you on Georgia Street soon.
