My husband and I stopped by the new TwoDEEP Brewing Co. Tap Room on a cold, windy Wednesday during one of their weekly $4 Pint Nights. The atmosphere in the tasting room was warm and cozy and the draft list had a ton of variety.
First up, and my favorite beer for the evening, was Jolly Old Milk Stout (on the left above) which they described as “creamy chocolate and roasted coffee flavors—like sweetened fresh espresso.” I definitely recommend it, especially during winter months. (That’s The Lunch Lady Brown Mild next to it)
The menu is made up of snack foods and not full dinner fare. It’s better than your average bag of chips though since the items are cooked in an oven. They have flatbreads and soft pretzels. The soft pretzels were warm and salty and are served with mustard and nacho cheese sauce. Be warned: the mustard was so spicy I almost cried upon first bite.
Next we ordered the They’ve Gone to Plaid Scotch Ale (above), described as “a big malty-ness with bold accents of caramel and sweetness through your entire palate.” This beer was so tasty we ordered a growler to go.
As we sat and enjoyed our after work beers we were right next to the window that looks into the brewery where a brew master was inside doing his thing. I love that these beers come fresh from the artisan right to your glass. We will definitely be back in the very near future.
